Beth Dow

Director

Beth is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of LaGrange College with a BA in Psychology and Social Work. She is a Certified Alzheimer’s Educator, a Certified Senior Advisor and a Geriatric Case Manager.

Beth owns Home Helpers of GA & AL. In 2018 she turned the business over to her son and launched a new company, Solutions by Beth. The goal of SB2 is to provide guidance and education to both the family and the professional caregiver. Beth presents community presentations and workshops for seniors, the children of aging parents, and family and professional caregivers. Her most recent endeavor is the publication of her new book “My Loved One Has Dementia. Now What?”. Beth has spoken at National and State conferences.

She has been married to her childhood sweetheart for 40 years and they have 2 boys, 2 daughters-in-law, 5 grandchildren. Beth and her husband Phillip love to travel.

Patty Ishoshima

Resident Care Director

Patty graduated with her BSN from Indiana University and has spent the last 7 years working in elder care administration. She has been on “both sides of the bedrail” in the assisted living arena as she had a loved one who lived in assisted living communities in Indiana and Georgia. “I was the daughter crying in the director’s office when mom first moved in.

As Resident Care Director, Patty is responsible for the health and welfare of our residents, as she supervises our Resident Assistants. Additionally, she coordinates with outside health care agencies.

She is a professed bookworm, chocaholic, stationary nerd and mom to a fur baby. She enjoys going back to Indiana to visit family and friends, but doesn’t miss the snow and ice.
